Meet Your Instructor

Dr Shaun Ziegenfusz is a recognised leader in the field of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD). A speech pathologist and researcher with over 15 years’ experience, Shaun has worked alongside children with DLD, their families, and educators to create meaningful change in both clinical and educational settings.
He completed his PhD at Griffith University, where his research explored the education needs and supports for school-aged students with DLD from the perspectives of those who know them best — families, teachers, and clinicians. This work has informed how schools and professionals across Australia can better understand and respond to the needs of children with DLD.
Beyond his clinical and research expertise, Shaun is deeply committed to advocacy. He serves as a volunteer member of the international Raising Awareness of Developmental Language Disorder (RADLD) Committee, working to ensure DLD is recognised and supported on a global scale.
Shaun is passionate about blending clinical practice, research evidence, and advocacy to empower families, professionals, and communities. His mission is simple yet powerful: to ensure every child with DLD has the support they need to thrive.
“I’m passionate about helping clinicians feel confident, supported, and equipped. This course is about more than theory — it’s about real, practical tools that change lives.”

FAQs
What if I can’t attend the live session?
No problem. All live attendees receive lifetime access to the replay, so you won’t miss a thing.
Can I switch from on-demand to live later?
Yes, if spaces are still available, you can upgrade to the live experience.
Is the content the same for live and on-demand?
Yes — both cover the same core evidence-based strategies, tools, and resources. However, due to a different mix of clinicians participating in the live events and sharing their client load, topics covered can vary in response to clinician need. The other difference is in how you experience it.
