WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

Clinicians working with children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and their families often need to plan for individualised interventions and support strategies.  However, there are a wide variety of approaches, tools and training available. So how do you decide what approach to take and when? This online workshop will combine current research regarding interventions and strategies with practical examples giving you the skills to apply your learnings in therapy.

This workshop will be hosted online using Zoom.  Details will be emailed to participants in the days prior to the workshop. To enable time for the facilitator and participants to connect, this workshop will be capped at 25 participants. Please book as soon as you’ve decided to attend to avoid missing out!

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Following completion of the workshop, clinicians will:

  • Understand the current evidence for interventions and strategies to support children with DLD.
  • Be familiar with a range of interventions and strategies, as well as how they can be utilised to support outcomes in therapy.
  • Have discussed how to apply interventions and strategies in their clinical work.

PARTICIPANTS

This workshop has been developed for speech pathologists. However, clinical psychologists and speech pathology students may also consider attending.

Please email connect@TheDLDProject.com with any questions regarding the registration process.
